Nike Foampoiste One 'Sliver'
Due Date: 2/15/15
Per Kicks on Fire: While we provided you with a peak of this purported “Mirror” Nike Air Foamposite One, it seems that it will partake in the 2015 NBA All-Star festivities, as it has been created to pay homage to the host city, NYC.
Dipped in a shimmering anodized Chrome finish, to represent the mid-season weekend in which the NBA’s elite players shine through with their respective talents, this particular version of the iconic Eric Avar-designed silhouette is truly gleaming, literally. Notable details consists of its rear logo, which bears “NYC” instead of Nike as a tribute. In addition, Matte-Black studded stars are applied on the pull-tabs to further commemorate the All-Star event.
Per Kicks on Fire: The Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro – Hare Jordan was last released on June 21, 2008, and alongside the Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Retro – Countdown Package 7 / 16 (Black / Varsity Red), retailed for $310. They feature a white and grey color scheme, along with plenty of red accents. They were dubbed the “Hare” Jordans because of the famous Nike commercial featuring Bugs Bunny, in which Bugs wore the “Hare” Jordan 7′s while Michael Jordan sported the Air Jordan 7 ‘s. At the end, they teamed up to take on a team of bullies in a pick up game and well, we can all guess what happened there, right?
Rounded out with a Black synthetic eye stay panel to offset its overall composition, all rest atop an icey translucent outsole unit, alongside its signature carbon fiber detailing on the midsole. Priced at $275, this Air Foamposite One “All Star” will arrive at select Nike retailers on February 15.
